The Russian Tech Tour 2009
For its 32nd edition, the Tech Tour will visit Russia for the second time and showcase its rich culture of technology and innovation. The Russian Tech Tour will highlight this enormous potential and depth during its unique two-day tour across the country.
Participation will be limited to 60 privately invited international professionals featuring a broad spectrum of senior representatives from VC funds, leading corporations and institutional investors. The Russian Tech Tour will meet a double agenda, first to showcase 25+ of Russia's most promising technology companies for potential investment or partnership and for the delegates to extend their local network in Russia. Secondly, to promote Russia's recent decision to accelerate innovation, research and economic growth by investing in nationwide competitiveness clusters.
Furthermore, the agenda will include interactions and meetings with a range of key figures from various disciplines – venture capital, corporate, entrepreneurs and academia.
Objectives
To identify the upcoming and leading top 25+ high-growth privately held technology companies in Russia and to introduce them to key European, US and Asian investors and professionals who can assist in their global expansion.

Russian Tech Tour 2009 Selection Committee
A group of highly regarded professionals have undertaken the responsibility of screening and selecting the companies to the presented at the Russian Tech Tour. A selection committee has been set up to ensure the independence of the selection process. It is composed by experienced and highly regarded senior professionals, from relevant backgrounds and industry expertise, such as venture capital, technology industry, investment banks, and research.
