Tech Tour is a three-day conference where high-tech product companies promote themselves in front of investors. The organizer is the European Tech Tour Association (ETT). Tech Tour is held annually in various countries of Europe: Germany, Scotland, Spain, Norway and other. Tech Tour is visiting Russia for the second time. Its preliminary program includes three cities: Moscow, Kazan and Tomsk.

Within the framework of Tech Tour, the Association presents promising innovation-driven companies to major international investors, leading IT corporations and IT industry consultants. The format of the conference provides for maximum information interchange and development of partnership relations.

Selection of projects to be presented for the leading venture funds and major technological companies is handled by the Selection Committee. The committee has been formed of 20 representatives of the leading Russian investment institutions which choose to work with high-tech projects. Among them is Nikolay Badulin, the General Director of OJSC IMC “FiBr”. The committee should identify 20-25 interesting and promising companies which will later be presented to the delegates of Tech Tour.

The main criteria for selection are innovativeness and international potential. Sector focus is: electronic equipment and systems; technologies of content and voice messages delivery; biotechnology; software and computer systems; database management; Internet-technologies and services; vertical markets solutions; new media technologies; wireless solutions; new materials and technology processes; optical electronics.

It will be a unique opportunity for companies from Tomsk and other Siberian cities to meet professional high-tech venture capitalists, to introduce their companies into the international market, and thus to promote Russia and showcase its significance in the technological world map.
