Educational program of “BIT Siberia” will continue this week

The author of the lecture is Lyudmila Butenko, the Director of the Intellectual Property Agency “Butenko and Partners”. What is a patent and how does the patenting process go? How should one protect their know-how? What is a copyright? The lecture will answer these and many other questions of young developers and participants of “BIT Siberia”.

The lecture will be held in the Student Business Incubator “Druzhba”. The lecture starts at 17.30.

On February, 21 (Saturday) at 12.00 the same venue will hold a seminar “Your own startup”. The author is Tatiana Sokolnikova, the Executive Director of “Argument”. The company specializes in procurement of industrial enterprises of Siberia and Russian Far East. “Argument” is the leader in its field, mainly due to frequent innovations in its management. Ms. Sokolnikova constantly advances her professional skills, she has underwent training in the Mitsubishi Institute of Integrated Research in Tokyo, Japan, the course on “Small and medium-sized enterprises management”, and received training within the “Open World” program in Washington, USA, the course “Women Leaders”. Ms. Sokolnikova is an instructor of the MBA program in Tomsk Polytechnic University, her courses are: “Human resource management”, “Competitive power of a company”. Her current specialization is human resource management and industrial goods marketing.

Tatiana Sokolnikova will share her experience in setting-up a company, will dwell on the underlying problems and entanglements that a beginner businessman can face. She will tell how to deal with them and help one’s company achieve success during the seminar.
